    Photoshop problem

when i make a path, select it and then delete part of a picture away using the path, it blurs the edges on the final image. I can't see anywhere where to turn this feature off. I've attached a basic image of what is happening. hope someone can help me, thanks in advance

Thanks for the ideas guys but it's fine when making a normal selection with either the marquee and lasso tool. It only happens when i am using paths. It's like it's applying feathering to the path but i cannot see where to turn this feature off.

What i am doing is basically making a path around a picture of a car, selecting the path, inverting the selection and deleting the background around the car on a layer mask, but kinda annoying when it feathers it. Makes it hard to come back and airbrush.

I've just attached another image of what is happening compared to using the marquee tool.

    Never had this problem before

oh yep finally fixed it after hours and hours of playing around.

Made a path, right clicked on it while it was on the document, clicked "make selection" and a dialog box came up with feathering options/anti-aliasing. It was set on 2, so hey presto back to 0.
