Got AUD$1100, what should I get?

I'm looking @ the acer n20 or n25 PDA's, but are they really worth it?
Like what do you use it for? Do you use it alot?

Or what else is something worth looking at?

I bought the compaq Ipaq about a month ago. I love it, heres a pic.

Here are the things I've done with it:
Keep a contact list of names, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses.
    MP3 player.
A portable AVI, MPG, MPEG, MOV, and DIVX! player.
Use it as a remote control for your TV, VCR, Cable, DVD, Stereo, etc.
    MSN
    ICQ
    E-mail
Portable Nintendo NES emulator! (Worth the purchase alone)
Portable Gameboy and Gameboy Advance Emulator!
    Play Wolfenstine!
    Play Quake!
Play Minesweeper, Hearts, Solitare, Tipai, Battleship
    Internet Explorer
    Clock, Calender, Calculator, Currency converter.
Accurate city maps complete with locations and addresses.
You can view digital photos by taking the card out of the camera and putting it in the slot.
I'm writing a couple screen plays on it.
    Infrared, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth...
Best of all, its the most Pimp lookin' PDA of them all.

    Best PDA - EVER??

    Get:

    HP iPaq 5450
    and an Orange SPV Phone

The HP iPaq runs MS PocketPC 2002 and is fully upradable to PocketPC 2004 coming out later this year, cheaper models, with slower processors arn't

and get the Orange SPV phone because:
    • it looks great
    • its fully compatible with the iPaq
    • you can use it to access the internet
    • etc...

Oh, and the 5450 has a finger-print scanner, 802.1b Wi-Fi, and numerous other stuff, and it's relativly lightweight...

I was going to get one, but I thought I'd spend the money on a new monitor and gaming equipment...

3950. I wanted that exact model because it has the nice big directional pad, unlike the newer models.

Oh, and I almost forgot the most important feature. IT PLAYS FLASH!!! You can make games that work with the directional pad! Or carry your animations around with you where ever you go.

I can only use the internet in my house (wireless). But if you want to take internet everywhere you go you need a special card. I don't have it so I can't tell you how much it cost, but I'd guess it'd be no more than, say, cell phone charges.

I was doing a little playing around tonight. If you want to delevelope flash stuff for it, make you flash file a size of 225 X 230. Its the only way it will fit properly with the taskbars and stuff. Also the four way directional pad acts as the four directional buttons on your keyboard, so there's no need to learn new commands.

poon, I have the iPaq 2210, and I'm loving it. In fact, seeing your posts made me pull it back out and use it.

However, your machine uses Pocket PC: Windows 2002, and the 2210 is using 2003. Other than that... I like it.

and I have a 340mb IBM pocket drive in the Compact Flash 2 slot... loving that.

Initially you get 64 megs, half of which goes to Storage and the other half to run your programs, but if you feel you aren't using a lot of program memory and need more hard drive space, you reallocate it. Right now I have mine set to 37 megs storage and 27 program. Also you can pick up memory cards. There are some out there now that are over a gig, which is way more than you'd ever need for a pocket pc.
