    Question

How do you make text look like its getting bigger smoothly, is it a motion tween or a shape tween, or what? Do i use symbols or leave it as text?

I know its gotta be the simplest thing in the world. I just cant figgure it out

probably best as a motion tween.

type text, convert it to a graphic symbol, create a keyframe however far down the timeline you want, click on the first keyframe and scale the graphic down, then double click on the keyframe and choose motion tween

    that should do it

I think you can assign motion tween to text(without convert them to symbol) in flash 4.

I do it all the time, but I am not sure about the file size. However, I try both mothed and the file size are not very much a different.
