General Help finding a web host

i know this might open a floodgate of discussion but i'm just curious if anyone's got a really reliable web hosting service that they'd recommend for their flash projects. anyone have any they've had bad experiences with?

let me know who's your fave and who to avoid.

    thanks

    Thanks

Find a free hosting company even if it's not direct link. Then, go to www.mydomain.com and sign for a free account to redirect your "non direct link" to the domain you have registered.

Hmm not sure if i understand. Wont i still get the ads and popups if i just redirect to tripod?

What my problem is i am building a site to show my work and for my cv, however i only have 12mb space, some of the animations i want visitors to be able to download wont all fit on. So i thought i could savet the zip files to another hosting company, so when users click on the download it just downloads the file off there server.

    Sorry to hijack your post!

I could host you, but the question is: What will you do in return..

    I mean, i can't rent a server for free...
