speed of movie after export as swf

The speed of the movie changes after export as swf.
    Any suggestions?

Is there someone that would provide help in "cleaning up" a movie. After getting the movie to look like I want it to, I would be interested to know if there is someone that could review the movie, make adjustments to reduce the file size and any other adjustments to optimize playback over the web.

    Thanks,

    Marty

If you mean the movie slows down upon playback, you may need a preloader to get it downloaded before it plays (a .swf normally downloads while it plays).

Some effects are 'expensive' in terms of system resources. Any effect that uses less than 100% alpha will tax the video resources as the Flash Player calculates not only the object, but what is behind it as well.

There is a Swish Sitecheck Forum that is mainly for design-related feedback, although the crew there is pretty good with tips. We can help you here if you have specific problems you need to overcome.
While changing my profile, I accidentally clicked the link that said
"Add 'Dead Rabbit' to your Ignore List"
so now I can't talk to myself anymore...

Movie speed is represented on the Movie Tab

In flash format fps is relative unless there
is a way to clock it.
    Relative means many things.
How fast a processor you have what type of motherboard
you have how much ram you have> How many programs
you have running How many operations are running.
    etc etc etc.

It also has to do with what is preloaded on the web.
If your testing it on stage several things are happening
with your processor including running the swf.
This affects the actual speed of the movie.

There is a very long detailed thread on syncing
audio with movies and it is pinned at the top.

The next version of swish tries to overcome this limitation.
And can do so as long as the movie is not totally unwielding.
(extremely high frame rates extreme effects etc etc)

Swishmax is currently being beta tested.
That thread is also pinned here if you'd like to
    study it more.
