    Buffering Video content

    Hi there

I was wondering if anyoneone could give me any advice on streaming video content into Flash. I'm using Squeeze to prepare the content and placing the video inside a movie clip.

Basically, what I want to do is have a basic interface with a playhead and also a bar that shows how much of of the video has already been loaded. The video shouldn't play until a suitable ammount has loaded, a buffer of 20% or so?
Is there also a way of detecting bandwidth and assigning a command to load in a movie of the appropriate size (ie. low, medium & high band)?

An example which illustrates this quite well is on BleuBlacRouge's site at: http://www.bleublancrouge.ca

Any links or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Barrie

    Hi.
We have many preloader tutorials and fla's on our site at www.wildform.com/tutorials.
Our software, Linx, can also automatically add a preloader to any .swf file.
