My folders have no respect for authority

Why is it that when you set your folder settings and choose 'All Folders' (something like that) with in 5 or 10 clicks all the folders are willy nilly again, showing up in any bleedin' order they like, displaying as thumbnails even sometimes, when I specifically and repeatedly chose 'details' as the default setting.

And it's not just XP. I remember this in 98 and even 95.

    What's the problem, Microballs???

    Agggghhhhh

We should both ask for a fix or patch. I hate it too. If we asked together they can't ignore us!

BTW, can we stop off and get something to eat first?

    I'm really hungry.

a little trick I do is to change the view options, then reset all folders, then set all folders alike... close windows explorer, re-open, *then fall down to worship the almighty computer gods, and do a jig.

    or two.

    *may not be necessary.

I had two Jettas, a silver 1985 turbodiesel (great mileage, cheap gas, no grunt - but 130K miles on the original clutch) and a blue 1991 1.8, which was pretty nice, except it didn't have a sunroof (the ashtray that never fills up - good for when I was a smoker, anyway).

In the UK I had a 1990 3-Series for a couple of years. Thing was a complete bastard, but I loved that car. Here's a snappy.
