I think the company name needs to be re-thought. It has a rather negative connotation...

not only that, but i feel it is a bit overcrowded. There are too many graphics and eyecandy that make concentration on the topic a bit difficult.
the feeling is that you're trying to have everything on the first page, and that ruins it. it may result that someone just feels it has seen everything on that first page and decide not to continue. you should guide the user in an attractive way to the product or final result, instead of showing him everything from the beginning.
i myself wouldn't know where to start if i found this site while surfing around the net.

he designs packages for wine bottles.

I made the wine labels and selected the bottles for a wine company. So no I'm not selling wine. I was using this image to advertise in a competitive forum where their are many designers competing for work. I was trying to show I was competent as a designer.
