Does anyone know how I could make an email messenger for my site?

Such as the one on BillyBussey.com, among other sites.

An FLA would be nice, or a tutorial, but if its a simple as buttons with assigned text fields and corresponding actiionscript, you could just paste the code.

Hrmmmm... you should really make your own... but I know what your feeling... I spent countless hours to create this... How many times I recreated it from scratch before it would work I will never tell... let's just say it was a learning experience

Use the FormMail script assuming you have CGI access @

Oh, thanks for the FLA, but I have no idea about CGI scripts. The extent of my coding knowlege is actionscript and minimal HTML...

Well. There are a couple of things that we should determine...

Do you have CGI access? If you aren't sure ask your hosting provider or supply thier website so I can check...

Or maybe another form of scripting like, PHP, ASP... ect...

If you do have CGI access you can use...

The script below... upload it to your website... and then point the button in the movie clip to the location within your website

so all you have to do is take the script in my last post and upload it to your server. then simply reference the button in the fla to that location using a full path...
