Thread: Important about career-opportunities!

  1. #1
To start with, I'm still pretty young and I haven't yet had any experience working with companies. Still, I know that I have more talent/skill then the most of those who are currently working within companies (call it bragging but it's the truth).

Now, if I would do a portfolio, my portfolio would be quite empty and I guess there isn't anyone who would be impressed by that, so what is my options? What should a freshman do in the beginning of his career? What did you do? Please help me out here, coz I don't have a clue!

    Try to write long messages!

You are better than us then r u????Naaaa.. dont think so!!!

Anyway your options are to just leave out the area about clients just tell them what you can do and show them some examples by just building up little templates and stuff!!!
Then list all the good points about you and your personal details etc...

    Hope That Helps!!

    getting jobs

creating flash can make you cocky but you probably arnt as good as you think you are - there are many angles flash, that you come across only in a working situation.

regarding a portfolio - you dont have to put work for clients in their look at http://www.andyfoulds.co.uk he has great site, yet he hardly mentions hes done work for clients - check the master : http://www.praystation.com - Joshua Davies is arguably one of the best flash developers in the world yet he doesnt waffle on about clients.

perhaps make the whole thing abstract, such as http://www.volumeone.com or http://www.onceuponaforest.com - i think if your as good as you think you are - just make a site like those and youll get a job - easy...
