Mac OS X Projector: Acceleration? Better Playback?

We are in final stages of testing and are seeing slowdown in various screens on slower macintosh computers - g4 450 or slower and most g3 machines. If the macintosh is 600 g4 or better - no real issues.

I believe it's the tight loops that we have that control the critters in the game and various checkers for actions - however PC side - on most slow PIII or PII there are no issues.

Are there any accelerated players for Flash on the Mac? What performance things besides the FPS trick Can I use?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately there aren't any acceleretated players as far as I know.

You could wait for the the v7 release of the player to go to final release (it's in beta at the moment) and then use that for the projector, but that's all I can think of at the moment and I have no idea when it will come out of beta...

The 7 player does work better. Thanks for the tip. I wish there was an OPEN GL accelerated player that also took care of looping - better math - etc.

Looping is the bane of any programming language really, it's just the most intensive thing you can do.
