Ok I've run across a new problem, I have a scroll bar attached to the text field that the articles will load into, the only problem is that the scroll bar isn't working. Maybe it isn't recognizing that there is enough text to scroll since the first thing loaded is blank? Any thoughts on this. I've attached my source file and the articles for convience. Thanks you guys.

what exactly did you add? just the updateAfterEvent? that's weird because I tried that and it wouldn't work for me. nothing ever does, lol.

the prob is scroll bars respond to the same variable as the Text variables.. for the bar.. the corresponding thing was InstanceName-1, and the INSTANCE name of your text box too. Where as the var for your text box was theTextBox.. So I replaced InstanceName1(everywhere) by theTextbox, and added theTextbox.<b>text</b> to your script.
