    web hosting

I am in need of both domain registration AND web hositng. I am looking for a cheap one year deal for the domain, and something very basic and affordable for web hosting. Any ideas?

    -Doug

P.S. I am also looking for companies that are very reliable.

    godaddy.com

I think is the best place

    plan 1

    3.95 month hosting
    1 email
    10 MB of storage
    1000 bandwidth

    plan 2
    7.95 month
    3 email
    150 storage
    2000 bandwidth
    PHP/mySql

    plan3
    8.95 month
    3email
    150 storage
    2000 bandwidth
    CGI/PHP/MySQL/ASP

one more plan gives you a little more
    something to the extent above

    oh

domain reg. like 6.95 for like 3 years!!!

I think its the cheapest and most reliable place, my sites have never gone down and are really fast

godaddy.com is one of the best for domains and as for hosting, you'd best be going to www.webhostingtalk.com 's forum for help

you can't beat godaddy on domains and hosting, for the price of the hosting for a Simple website with one email you can't beat it anywhere.
another place which is a little better for cgi and php is www.networkeleven.com

I've used tera-byte and godaddy both - and they are both very cheap and reliable. no problems here.

As for hosting: I'd go with www.dream-studios.com I use them and they are great so far - no downtime except server reboots and they'll hook you up good.
