    here's probably why ur G5 is late..

    Virigina Tech University is building a supercomputer based on a cluster of Mac G5 systems. The report says the supercomputer will have 1100 nodes, each with dual 2GHz G5 processors and 4GB to 8GB of memory. Apple is giving priority to the Virginia Tech order over consumer orders so that the supercomputer has a shot at hitting the next round of Top 500 rankings—and they are apparently hoping to land in one of the top 5 slots. www.techreport.com

    Nah, that's not a big enough order for the delay. The main problem is that the G5 for schools got a higher priority. And that's an amount of something like 70'000 (Not 100% sure).
