    Favorite music videos

What are your favorite music videos, not just the songs but the videos.

A few that come to mind for me would be any of the white stripes videos (except for "we're going to be friends"). Anything by the gorillaz. All the videos by the director Shynola. His work is amazing. Here's his portfolio http://www.shynola.com/univr_frame_pictures.htm. He's done some videos for radiohead (Optimistic and Pyramid Song) along with queens of the stone age and quannum. His videos are very digital artistic. Any graphic designer would be proud.

Nearly all of the foo fighters videos. Esp. the Footos one (I forget the song). Nearly all weezer's videos also except dope nose and the first island in the sun videos, but they made up with the second island in the sun and keep fishin' videos.

if you haven't seen the keep fishin' video, you should. It has the muppets in it!

I worked with Tim Pope in London and love everything he's done (he's best known for the Cure videos from the 80s) - he's an amazing director.

The Foo Fighters ones are always good for a larf.

Just got Radiohead's 7 Television Commercials today on DVD, fairly impressed with all of them. Especially "No Suprises", "Fake Plastic Trees" and "High and Dry".

I really thought the animated Gorillaz ones were cool.

Anything that MTV played on Alternative Nation or 120 minutes back in the 90's tended to be pretty cool too.

    This one:

Just joking. The best video was ... hmmm ... can't remember the name. Everything was in 3D, but with letters. So a taxi was the word taxi driving on the street. Really amazing. Will post a link to it if my memory comes back.

I bought that too. I got it after I went to see their concert. I guess he was saying making the video for no surprises was the scarriest moment of his life.
