    Flash + Plasma TV's

    Hello all,

I am not sure if this is the best place for this but....

A client of mine just asked about designing a Flash presentation to be published as a quicktime or other video. Then put on a DVD and played on a large 60" Plasma television.

I am worried about quality and consistant framerate at that size. Has anyone ever tried this? Anyone know of any problems with this idea?

Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

If you are publishing it in a video format, you need not worry about the frame rate and sync'ing. In reality you are converting the vector images of Flash to a raster format and they will play at the given frame rate. The best thing I can say is make a large stage, use high quality pictures and test it out a few times to get the exact height to width ratio.

Thank you for the input. The framerate thing makes total sense.

If its rasterizing the Flash, then the end result would be the same as any video file made -- Flash or no Flash. So all I would have to worry about is the height width ratio.
