windows vs apple MX
Okay its not my intention to start a war about what is better windows machines or apple machines. I would simply like to know if windows version of Flash MX generally works better than the apple version of MX.
I did a little summer internship for my dads office, where I used Flash MX to do some work. His machine is a 500mhz pentium III and it worked out fine. Now I use a 750mhz G4 with 500mb of RAM running OSX and its painfully slow. What gives? My computer is superior in both processor speed and ram, but it runs MX noticibly slower than on the PC.
Is this common? Do most flash users use PC or Apples? I'm a pretty devout apple user, but I would say PC users got the better version of MX imo.
P.S. if there is a similar post to this somewhere or a good article about it, could someone give me a link. Like I said earlier its not my intention to start a war here, simply I want some information and opinions.

shorter than most, but not all
yup. i'm afraid the mac flash player is unbelievably slow compared to the windows version, plus there are many bugs and functionality problems with it, including javascript problems and fscommand issues.
