    Alpha Channels

    Hello,
    I am wondering if FLASH MX has the same alpha channel capabilities as Photoshop and if so, how do I use them?
    Also, can a solar flare be done in Flash?

    Check the movies section for flares. Flash supports alpha in gif,png and pict formats.

    In PS disable the background layer, goto Save for Web and choose png24 and check the transparency box. Import to Flash.
