    background properties

i'm trying to make an animation in flash, and i want to draw the backgrounds in photoshop for more detail, etc...

i'm having trouble getting a perfect fit, taking a background made in photoshop, and having it paste perfectly within flashes workspace...

i tried copying a background from flash to photoshop, work on it, then paste it in flash again, but it appears smaller then...

what i need to know is:
the width, height, and resolution of a photoshop file, so that when pasted in flash, it makes a perfect fit (not needing adjustments in size)

THANK YOU SO MUCH to whoever can help me out with this, I appreciate it a lot...

Did you try importing the graphic, rather that copy and paste.
Also, try using different formats such as jpg, png, tif, eps, and etc.

flash works with a resolution of 72 dpi. if your photoshop document is anything different, your imported graphic will appear smaller or larger, depending on the difference. you can still make it the right size by clicking the 'Remove Transformations' button in the transform panel.
