Say I have a user with the Flash7 plugin.

I create a project with an embedded FLV, and export it as a Flash7 swf.

I then create the same project in MX and embed a FLV (from Squeeze), and export as Flash6 swf.

Would my Flash7 plugin user be more likely to have a better experience viewing the Flash7 swf? OR would he be no better off than using the Flash6 plugin?

Anyone know if I would get better performance by creating a projector from a Flash6 swf using the Flash7 standalone player vs. using the Flash6 standalone player.

You probably guessed that I am not looking forward to upgrading to mx2004... I concentrate mostly on the motion graphics side of things, and other than video enhancements - mx2004 looks really disappointing so far
