PS2 vs. XBOX

I need some insight from all of you "obsessed with games" people...
I have a PS2 and love it but have recently been asked which I prefer, XBox or PS2. I havent used XBox for more than 30 minutes and didnt get that crazy about it.
I want to konw serious comparisons, not "I like the PS2 logo better", things like:
graphics, avail. of games, power, memory, etc...

Of course the X-Box has better graphics (sometimes), but I don't like FPS and so the only game right now that would interest me is Star Wars:KOTOR

On the PS2 I actualy have more games then time to play them. It's that simple.

Dark Chronicle rules my privat life right now. Really one of the best RPG's ever.

PS2

Very good Graphics, loads of game titles to choose from, can use PS1 games, nostalgic feeling to it as spent many wasted hours/days wearing my thumb joints out...

XBox

Excellent Graphics, good selection of games (but not compared to PS2)thats it...


if I had to choose one of the 2...mmmmm

XBOX, as its quality is loads better, and can live with the less games, after all can only play one at a time, and it take me forever to complete one... lol

if your interested in moding your console, xbox is the way to go. (like 100+gb HD, multiple HD's, networking to pc's, running Linux on the box, more memory etc etc)

xbox has far more graphics potential than ps2 (i wont go into the details ) and there are several games which play at much higher resolutions than ps2.

if it wernt for xboxLive, i wouldnt have bought an xbox (or any other console for that matter). and there are *free* gaming networks for people with a modded xbox.

I like XBOX better soley because of the graphics. I've played the same games on both consoles, like NCAA 2004, and the XBOX version has MUCH better graphics from what I've seen. To be honest the only reason I bought a PS2 was for GTA4, and that's coming out on the XBOX soon.

PS2 only because of the controller. On games like Tekken 4 you just can't be as effective with an X-box controller.

yeh, there are just too many buttons on the x-box


all you need is...12 buttons (ps2 controller)...compared to that

of .....um........more than 12 buttons (x-box controller)


and the x-box controller are heavier

i do agree with the x-box about the graphics in all but the ps2 is for me

lol, all this fuss over the controllers.. you can buy ps2 controllers for the xbox (not made by sony, of course).

It looks like Nintendo threw a PS2 controller in an oven for an hour.
If you want a GOOD controller, game titles, accessibility and over all system I'd go for the PS2.
Yes, the X-box has better graphics, But that's because Microsoft let it bake in the over for an extra year.

XBOX of course, better graphics, and the best feature of the XBOX, the built in Hard Drive.
