Looks ok. Not a strong design as its really kind of sloppy. The nav is just odd for some reason and you have that "x" on the left side of it for no purpose other than to have an "x". Its hard to read content that is centered as well, its just more frustrating on the eye. Also your header image needs work, looks week and I don't like the typography in it.
Making a site in flash does not make a bad design good, don't listen to Abel.
HTML is a fine solution for a portfolio site. But work on the layout and decide whether you want something simple or complex. You kind of have both here.
