    blurring images in flash?

    is it possible?
    is there a script for it?

    Short answer is no.

    You can put the image in a graphic clip on one layer. Add it again to another layer, centered, and slightly larger, like 2 pixels. Add a third, slightly larger. Set the alpha of the larger ones to like 20 or 30%. It's not like using a blurred image made in PhotoShop tho.

    I have a similar technique as above.
    Simply place two identical instances on top of each other (two of the same image). On the top instance, turn the opacity down to 50% (or to your liking). Then shift it over a pixel or so to the desired effect.
