    import quick time into flash

    I tried to import a quick time into flash MX. I chose "link to extenal video file" to import the movie file. It showed on the time line in the Flash. Once I export the file, I couldn't see the movie playing on the swf file.
    Any idea about this?

    Flash can not play video files. They have to be converted to Flash format first. You can do that by IMPORTING the video in to Flash and save as a .swf file for instance. Linking is if you export your Flash file as a QuickTime file.
