Flash Turbine + Flash MX incompatible??!
Hi,
I've just installed the trial version of PHP Flash Turbine to my MacroMedia Flash MX. Everything looks fine, but I'm not able to export to the swt format (It simply doesn't appear as on option when I click on "Export Movie...".
Is the Flash Turbine compatible with Flash MX????
Cheers,
Bas

Hi!
Turbine 7 works and exports to Flash MX format, but the PHP version hasn't been released yet.
We're looking into a release time frame for PHP Turbine 7 set for the end of October for the Linux/Windows versions (it's expectable that a Mac OSX will follow at the middle of November).
Please let us know if we can help any further.
Kind regards,
Manuel Fernandes

Are any compatibility issues to the scripts using PHP Turbine 5 already available?

Turbine 7 uses a new whole XML language called MML. Although MML can be directly mapped to the old Turbine 5 scripting, you may have to make some small adjustments to convert the old scripts.
Also, the new version is designed to be possible to install both versions side by side in the same machine.
The sub-section "Notes for Turbine 5.0 Users" of the manual in the ASP.NET version shows a list with the main differences:
