    timing avi files

    Hi,

I am importing a swf file into a new fla file and I have to place video on another layer and have it run at the right time on top of the swf.

The videos are avi files and I plan to import them + stretch out the swf to reflect it's running length and then place the videos on other layers. Would you preload them? Can you just place them in like this?

I appreciate any expert help. Time sensitive problem here.

    Thanks.

    Found this:

    http://www.macromedia.com/support/fl...ion_import.htm

Will repost if it doesn't work.

Looks like I have to import the avi file into flash on it's own and export it as a single frame animation. Then reimport it into my fla in the right place.
