Making .gifs static through a movie???

I reworded the subject, and wanted to bump the thread anyway.

I'm trying to put a 800x200 size psp thing that i did into a flash movie and put small anims over it. However, when I try to resize the movie/stage whatever I'm trying to do, it just doesn't stay that way. I'm a little lost. How can I make a .gif static through the whole movie, and keep the movie the same pixel w/h as the psp file?

    Hey, come on now.

I just wanted to BUMP. Someone at least tell me where I can find this in a previous discussion, or tutorial. Can you change the stage size like you can adjust the image size in PSP, or PS7? What am I doing here?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. If you're just trying to make the stage a certain size, you can find that under Modify>Document.

Ok, that's better. Now, do I have to add the .gif that I want as a background to every frame? Is there a way to make it the background and work over it?
