    Question

    hey dudes
I was wondering how do you do that cool lens flare effect that seems to go anywhere on any background as if it were transparent?
    Ex: www.ibisdesign.com/fl/ibisfl.html

Is it a lens flare imported from photoshop?
Or is it created in flash itself?

    ???

    Cool

The lens flare is created in flash.
There is a tutorial on how to do this in the movie section of flash kit in the Special Effects folder.

    Hope this helps
    Happy Flashing,

    thanx, bud,
    I'll check it out later.
Hope it's easy to figure out just the lighting effect without having to use the annoying mouse-following feature as shown(probably scripting). Don't think it'll be a problem.

Yeah, I know what you mean about all that unneccesary action script. I have a .fla which is a design of a lensflare that may be more helpful to you. Email me at josiahwilliams@emineo.com if you would like a copy.

If you go to the movie section and type in "lensflare" into the movie search it will be displayed, the tutorial referred to above is for the highly popular "Ray of Light" tutorial
