Turn Off A Button Help

Hi there,

I have a mc with a button inside it.

I want the mc/button to appear on stage however I don't want the cursor changing to the 'hand' when the user rolls over it. How can I disable it/turn it off?

I am working in Flash MX but I need to publish as Flash 5.

You can't disable the hand cursor if you're publishing for Flash 5!

Although if u decide to publish as 6/MX then give ur button a instance name and put this on the timeline of ur movie:

INASTANCENAME.useHandCursor = false;

---

But as oldnewbie said it wont work under 5
