I managed to get some code for streaming and put it together to work fine as a stand alone swf. But when I load it as a module, some of the code does no seem to function properly.

the path to the movie would be this:

_root.anim.content2 <--- Module is loaded into this clip.

Here is the code for the stream.

Code:
isVideoPaused = 0;
// Turn on built-in debugging from flash (optional)
#include "NetDebug.as"
stop();
// Open a new NetConnection to attach a remote object
nc = new NetConnection();
// Connect to your project on the Win2k Server through rtmp
// RTMP=(Real-Time Messaging Protocol)
// rtmp://host[:port]/appName[/instanceName]
nc.connect("rtmp:/cinema/video");
// Declare a Streaming Object called NetStream
NewStream = new NetStream(nc);
// MyVideo is the video instance on the stage
MyVideo.attachVideo(NewStream);
// set the number of seconds to load before beginning to play
NewStream.setBufferTime(10);
// Push Play on the movie
NewStream.play("chhabravid2");

NewStream.onStatus = function(returnObj) {
	if (returnObj.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Start") {
		this.statusa.gotoAndStop("buffering");
		if (NewStream.time<endtime) {
			// buffering has begun
			buffer_dialog.set(0);
			buffer_dialog.display();
			isBuffering = 1;
		}
	} else if (returnObj.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Empty") {

		this.statusa.gotoAndStop("end");

	}

	else if (returnObj.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Full") {
		// buffering is complete
		buffer_dialog.hide();
		isBuffering = 0;
		this.statusa.gotoAndStop("playing");
	}
};
function checkVideoBuffer() {
	if (isBuffering == 1) {
		buffer_dialog.set(Math.round((NewStream.bufferLength/NewStream.bufferTime)*100));
	}
}

the video is working fine, it even seems to be buffering properly, but the message is not changing, where in the stand alone version, it changes fine. I am sure that some of the code is requiring a path to recognize it, I am just not sure what parts need it. For example, I had to change "statusa" to "this.statusa"...

Any ideas? thanks for any help.
