    Problem viewing site

Hi guys, I have just tried uploading a rough site which i created but the flash movie wont display! (only displays on my computer) lol. 2 others tried it and both just got the black background (set in dreamweaver) and a white space where the movie is meant to be. The 2 files i uploaded are just the index.html in dreamweaver and the published movie in flash (which is been based in DW). Can anyone tell me why its not displaying...the address for the site is.. http://www.geocities.com/transine if someone could take a look that would be great,

    Thanks Lopster

PS i used Flash mx and dreamweaver 4

I would say that there is a problem in the plugin. Can you try publishing in Flash 5 (under publish settings)?

    If not then I dunno...
The other day, I bought a box of animal crackers. On the side, it said "Do Not Eat if Seal is Broken". I opened the box and sure enough...

I think that you have incorrect paths for the object and embed tags. View the source, and you'll see
    Code:
    "file:///C|/Program%20Files/Macromedia/Dreamweaver%204/Lessons/Lesson%20Files/"
So the page is looking for the file on the Geocities server at that address... try to cut out the unecessary stuff so it is just

    Code:
    "prac.swf"
Assuming that the HTML and the flash are both in the same folder.

You can actually see the flash at this address:
    http://www.geocities.com/transine/prac.swf

    Supercool.
