pretty cool. only thing that NEEDS to be fixed is how the music loop restarts every time you goto a new section.

other than that and its all great.

The site is cool, the roll overs on the navigation are hella weak.

I like the feel of it. very nice and smooth. Altough when you scroll it gets kinda choppy.

Not sure who created the site, I can't imagine 24-7 did it (although if they did, then, oh well), and even though it has his sort of style, I think that the designer could've put more attention to detail. I think it's a good site, definitely worthy to be posted in this forum, but I can't help but compare it to 24-7's work. I just know that if 24-7 did it, the little things such as the music not playing continuously, the banner graphics, etc, would've been so much better due to the attention to detail. Still, if I knew who this designer was, I'd keep an eye out for their work. Good stuff.

The site get's to the point quickly, that may be a good thing. It has a nice feel to it. The rollovers, as stated by NANAND78, were really week.

The sound should have sit on another level or something, it was really annoying how it kept restarting.

Not at the standard of 24-7

Some of the Typography came out nice, but on the whole I'd
be really surprised if that site wasn't overly "influenced"
by 24/7...and no one can do 24/7 like 24/7 can can.

    lol.
flashkit is very interesting for me.
i come here and visit the cool sites threads every day to see what is posted.

a relatively new style emerges and a couple of designers... normally one, get a whole bunch of thier sites posted here, then suddenly its 'thier' style only.

like the 'juxt style' the '2A' style the '24-7' style
isnt it a good thing that people are being influenced by great designers?

bloody hell if no one was getting influenced by anyone else then the industry would be DEAD.
im influenced by design every single time i visit flashkit, or any other website for that matter...
i get influenced by the radio, by tv, by everything.
why should it matter if these people are being influenced by ingo?

people here have a habit of making things like that sound sooo bad.
i think its a great thing.
and i would be shocked if he was against people being influenced by him, i should think he embraces that.

this site hasnt ripped off his work or anything.
    so whats the fuss?

sorry, that just bugs me about a lot of these forums.

    back to the site,
i would say its a good draft of the finished thing, but in my opinion this isnt finished.
if i showed this to a client it would be one of the stages where im just checking im doing the right thing for them.
everything on this site needs more attention to detail.
the rollovers, the music, the transitions, the lot.

    its nice. but not COOL.
i think if they put another 100% into it, this site could rock! (maybe)

    Wow,

I am sorry. I really did not mean to get under your skin. The site is great. And I totally agree with what you where saying about being influenced I just love to see things done in a different way, a different thinking process. There is no fuss at all. You are right, that was kinda wrong to just come out and say the little dumb joke, but you laughed

my comment wasnt dirrected at you mate.
it was a general comment about most people attitudes on flashkit as a whole.

just read through a handfull of the cool sites threads and you will see the same remarks being made all the time.
about how a design is being coppied etc.

it just gets tiring seeing the same stuff being posted.
people here should realise that being influenced by other designers is a great thing... not a bad thing.
and with all the absolute crap thats out there on the web, its nice to see a web revolution if you like where people are actually trying to make good websites.
