Question. How can I (if at all), use an image [Bitmap, GIF, JPEG, etc.] for a background on a swish movie instead of a background color? If anyone can help me out, I'd be very grateful.

    Welcome aboard!

To answer your question, make the image size the same as your movie size (x,y dimensions), and then load the image to swish, and position it correctly. then you can place any layers ABOVE your image one, and it'll be your background (use the down arrow to push the image layer to the end of your layer list).

    Hope that helps.

    peace,
    Danny.

Thank ya very much bro. I'm VERY new to SWISH... about to purchase it when I get some money in my checking account. So far I likes... just wish it had all the features that Flash 5 does (without the headaches that Flash 5 comes with standard).

    It's my humble pleasure :)

Sure thing.. if you need anymore help, you know where to ask

BTW, if you're still using the trial, all exported text will be scrambled and images will turn out in grey scale (incase you didn't know).

    peace.
