writing documentation
i just got a promotion, i am now a technical lead
building sites and writing good code is what i do best
writing documentation and execution plans while tracking associates is not
when i search for tutorials about documentation, all i get is books
which i guess i should get soon
but where is a good place to find out some basics
maybe a weekend crash course
thanks

Pessimistic ebullience
Try to find related literature that is outside the exact feild maybe. Maybe look at project management, information systems development, stuff like that might be useful, it's a start anyway, and probably has a larger user base to draw from.
Try TechRepublic as a start.

documentation is basically saying what each peice of code does and why. There really isn't too much to learn about it other than ways to clearly communicate the goals of each peice.
It must be obvious day at camp stupid
