    I read the Computer Arts tutorial and here's the main steps :

    1. Create an image in Photoshop using the find edges filter.
    2. Trace this using vector nodes.
    3. Save the nodes as an AI file.
    4. Import these lines into Flash via Freehand or Illustrator.
    5. Import the photo under the lines for colour.
    6. Sample colours and fill the between the lines using the paint bucket.

    That's it!

    Went to buy the Computer Arts but that particular edition is not available yet. It will be in next week and when I get it, I'll post the results from the Rom

    It's a point along a vector line...

    Like the ones with handles that you can change the way the line bends into it...?

    Have you tried the trace bitmap in flash? if you play around with the colour threshold you can get a similar effect on a photograph. It can then also be exported as illustrator file

    they should never have made trace bitmap now when anyone makes anything manualy in a vector app its dubbed as just a trace bitmap.

    Gotta get that computer arts magazine
