[Resolved] How to have buttons inside a button ?

hello there !!
this is the fact .
i have 3 horizontal buttons

(we) (services) (contact)

example when i go over (we) then i need to show a background containing the rest of the buttons , that at the same time it has its over .

i tryied but when i go over it bigins blinking , flashing and does not work .

please help . or offer me a better way to do a menu links like this.

So if i clicked this button other buttons would than become visible?

As i understand it as posted, i reply:
(!) Create a movie instead.
(2)Place the button (whatever, we us, whatever/whichever one)
in frame 1 or whatever... on this movie
(3}place a action on the button
on (release){
gotoAndPlay(2);
}
(4)than have your buttons become visible.

Is this what you needed? If not PLEASE be more specific.

i downloaded the file but my flash mx gave me an error trying to open the file "unexpected file format " i tried importing also but fails !!

Works fine for me.

Probably saved as a MX2004 file and not MX only. Or if you're on a Mac, you have to zip up the file for us Pc users to be able to open it.

That's what i thought too, no Mac MX file . . . can you download it?

i downloaded it !
its being saved and recognize extension buttons.fla

i am using a windows 2000 profesional (no mac )
flash mx studio

i have even tryied on 2 diferent machines i got here in my office but i received same error messages " unexpected file format "

Oh! I can download it, but can't open it!

What I'm saying is that Thealiengus saved it in a MX2004 format, or is on a Mac.

mr. oldnewby do you think , that could be possible to give me a hand on another questions that i had , on a new trhead that i will post in a few seconds about the using of loadMovie functions ?
i have read tutorials , searchin on mx help , but i can solve how to use this function !!

while our friend trys to fix the file format problem ?
