Keeping compressed video size while importing

I've got a 600KB .avi file that I'd like to keep that small. If I embed the file, it becomes 3MB. Is there a way I can keep the file size down after importing it, or an alternative to importing the video?

I'd like to keep the aesthetic appearance of how it currently looks. File can be viewed here.

I read a previous post where Wheels mentioned Sorenson Squeeze, is this the solution for my situation?

I'm using Flash MX, I'd appreciate any feedback.
