    Online Flash Website Builder

    Hello all-

I am head of a very small webhosting company and am looking for an easy-to-use online flash website builder for our clients. We want something that requires no programming skills, so that newbies may create websites. There doesn't seem to be much out there. Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hi,

this is more a proof of concept rather than a finished product: http://wolfgang.remsnet.de/homepage/

I ve done something like that. You can add image galleries and a jukebox for MP3's too.
You can change alot of things with just sliders and button clicks but the basic shape is the same. Here are some sample images of the results .

Im currently building a site for the concept, you can have a sneak peak what it looks like at the moment and try it out for yourself.

The number of buttons is not dynamic as of yet, there will be a maximum of 5.

Sorry to be a little off topic, but I've been wondering for a while if it's worth getting into user template sites.

Do you guys think that there's much money to be made, or is it more of a 'developers need to cover all the bases' thing.

Obviously our friend affy here would have to buy some sort of permissions from the developer to independently brand and offer a system such as this and that could be OK cash (I guess), but aside from that, are there a lot people trolling around, looking for template sites?

    Thanks for your thoughts.

My guess is that the good template sites like www.guistuff.com make some money as their stuff is very good. I often see newbies in this forum who bought templates and wonder how to edit them, so at least some people are buying them.

    Hi all-

Thank you for all your advice. Pellepiano, you have a nice project there.

We are really not interested in a group of templates where users choose one and then have to use coding skills to get it going. Our desire is to offer a way to have a flash website to those that have no development skills. We have a standard site builder, SiteStudio, but so do 10,000 other companies. I am looking for something a little different....hence, a flash website builder.

    There a few out there:

    Flash-SiteBuilder
We love the look and feel of the software. However, we have tried (unsuccessfully) for months to get someone from the website to respond to us. No response to email or their online inquiry form. This doesn't bode well.

    Designer360
Fast and responsive customer service. However, they said they stopped licensing the software to other companies. This is a dead end.

    Hoover
Expensive for its very limited offerings. Nice people there, though.

If you can think of anything else, let us know.

    Thanks!

Hi, I think java is the way to go, atleast in my experiences, Geocities Pagebuilder and Homestead have really nice drag and drop clients available, why not search for something more like that...
