Need some Logo c&c
Hello all,
I am working on a logo for a company, that builds simulation training. In otherwards, custom software.
They want a industrial, bold look to there logo, and something that can be presented in several different ways and still look good.
This is what I have came up with so far. (See attachment)
Any c&c would be great, before I show them.
Thanks

I think you captured the desire for industrial looking logo, but I don't really equate that to training software. I think you hit the goal of the design in the way it was asked but I would really consider a different route. Old industrial doesn't scream innovation to me. Especially when you use the dark brown, seems rustic, out of date and not really meeting my needs.

dark brown? it's black on my screen Interesting point about the "Old industrial doesn't scream innovation" I will be thinking about it...
anyone else?

No ofense man, but I don't think that it would look good for a software company. Might look good for a construction company, but not software.
I think you should go for a more smooth glass type look. Maybe a CD. Just keep at it man.
And is the companys name CMIST?

CMIST?
yes. its kinda of a hard name to work with
I also agree, it didn't really hit me right away as a software logo.

Nice! Don't care to much for the font though. Maybe try adding some color.

Like it eh? me too.
Yes I don't care for the font either. Anyone have some suggestions for the font?

might be interesting to see what the logo would look like putting the mist in it. starting with the top center putting an "M" then go clockwise to finish it.

i like 2.jpg - gives a industrial look, with a software twist, but it may not be business-like enough for the company...if you know what i mean
1 works very well...for the job
