Check out the logo in my signature (see below) and let me know how it looks. Our main area of work is graphic design.

I think a logo should work in black and white. Yours certainly ain't.

Also can't see the link between 'pyramids' and 'animal studio'.

You say you do 'graphic design', at least you should be able to make a decent logo.

Thanks for that scathing attack... we'll give it a thought.

And by the way, you may have noticed, the word AniMal has been written with a capital A at the start and a capital M in the middle... which implies that it is a word that has been created by joining two words.... so don't take the meaning as animal (dog, cat, etc.) but take it in a.... what should I say... metaphorical (maybe) sense!

In the mean while, why don't you show us something you've done?

nah sense has good points, when I saw AniMal it made me think of the dude of the muppet show, cant see the link. I also believe that logos should work in

a) black and white
b) 2d
c) optional 3d

try working in 2d before you go adding drop shadows etc

keep workin at it tho, potential is there

also its too big for your footer:

max width: 300
max height: 40
