    Question

does Flash recognize anchors in the HTML pages? I tried Get URL "mypage.htm#anchor",
the page is displayed, but not on the anchor.

That very question came up just the other day. According to Eric its a no go. If you look down the thread you should see the posts. Regards, Bill

    Cool

I came up with a work around. The only thing that I know will work is to use a hidden frame that you call a page to that has the anchor tag named as a command to load when the page is loaded. that should work.
( a hidden frame is when you make a frame set and split the screen top and bottom, make the top 100% and the bottom 1% reletive. this way the bottom frame is unseen but you can call external pages with behaviors in them to do actions like open mail browser, call and anchor etc. Regards, Bill
