    Something to flash chat about

I have found a great place to voice chat with others
about flash and flash development. The voice quality
is great and even people on dialups can get on.

If you are interested in talking directly to other developers/designers and or your clients, which will save you a ton of money check out this place.

15 day free trail, but what the heck to subscribe it is only
3 dollars a month if you go by the month. Better rates for longer sign up times.

I go by the same nic there as I do here.

Toby, I got the impression that this was a voice-forum for Flash developers. All that link points to is a general voice-chat system. This has nothing to do with Flash.

Are you an affliliate for this company, or something?

And, not to be harsh, but the website looks pretty shoddy. I'd be hard pressed to give any $ to a company that couldn't afford a decent website.

No, I am just a subcriber to the service and would like for
flash developers/designers to have a place to go and be able
to voice chat about different topics. It is a young service
and runs on a shoe string budget. The owner is not making any money
providing the service because the all the subscrition fees are going back out to pay for the band width. This is not a peer to peer service as most of the other services are but actually uses voice servers.

I was hoping to see several flash people come to the service so we could start a chat room about flash. A voice chat room can hold many people and the sound quality is great even for people on dialups.

    I see.
Sounds like a good idea, only this text-based type of forum usually proves to be more beneficial than voice.
The main reason being that the base is large, the comments don't disappear (there for later reference) and it's free.
I see your concept, though, and it probably has some merit. I just think most folks would benefit more from a text-based discussion.... especially when dealing with code.

My thoughts were not of a subsitute for Flashkit but an addition to it. Just another way to communicate. Plus if you have family members living away from your city/town/state you can save a ton of money in the long run. Goes for clients too.

That's cool... no intention here to squash your good intentions. Hopefully that guy's service will take off.
Me? I'll stick to MSN messenger with cam/audio. No fee, and all the perks.

I forwarded your thoughts on how his web page looked and he made a new interface for all his content. He aslo asked me to thank you for your input about the web page.

This is really a great place to chat in voice because you can make a voice forum which can hold many people. This is also a great place to hold classes or seminars about flash or anything else.
