Button with (Rollover and Rollout) not workin

    Hey,

I got pretty much two buttons inside a MC, linked to frames in the same mc to play on rollover and rollout. But it only works if you roll nicely onto the button, most of the time they jus seem to glitch out..

I've attached the fla to help explain what I mean, and hopefully you can figure it out. All of it has to stay in the mC though.

    Thanks,
    Ian

    Hey,

    Nice... they work better now...

Still only problem is that if you rol over and out before the image fades all the way in, then it won't fade out... sice your already off the button..

Is there any way to fix that, or should I just make the fade in clip shorter, so it fades in quicker?

Fairly complicated way of solving your problem!
Could be much easier with a hitTest on the name clips themselves and a reverse play (if a tween is used) or actionscript alpha fades if not.

    Hey,

    Anyone got a idea?

I can do this easy if I use the button on the main time line, and a MC with the animation on it. Then use the same rollover and rollout commands to tell the MC to play the right part.

I just can't get it to work if the button and the clip thats soposto fade in are in the same MC.
