intermediate menu... i think

i have spent hours trying to figure out how to get a "button" embeded in a "movie clip" won't the menu to the next frame

i have a 10 frame "movie clip" that uses the "button" to go to the next frame in the scene i have a simple motion tween that performs a simple alpha effect once the 10 frame motion tween is finished it stops because of the "action" then when you goto click on it the tween repeats in the "action" for the button i gave it the command goto frame 46 in current scene and i have tried scenne 1 but still the tween repeats and doesn't bring me to the next frame

please help

sounds like you need to put an action on the button and not the frame.
