    music import

    hi
    i was wondering if someone could explain to me how i can use midi fils in my flash game. i cant import them, how do i make them to mp3s? and what would i do to make mp3s shorter, how do i "cut" them?

    R34N3M4T3D ( Do you pronounce that "Tim" ? ), check out the music / sounds forum, this isn't really the right place to post.

    As to editing and converting music software, search on google.

    Quick answer >> no, there is no midi support in flash at current.

    Converting software >> see squize's post.

    Quick tip >> there are examples about of using javascript being called from flash you can control a midi file embedded inside the html page. Its not a bad solution (midi files are so small, i wish they were supported) but remember things like this are not going to be okay for all browsers.

    just a thought...

    Maybe you could just record it with the "total recorder" system.
