Wow, this is the slickest site I have seen all year. By far more innovated or original than anything I've seen this year. Fantasy Interfaces have really out done themselves this time. Not only does it look like a solid front-end, I am sure the back-end is just as solid. Looks like a lot of technology and tons of scripting went into that site. I give this site a 11 out of 10

    a very cool site...

do fantasy interfaces intend to produce a html equivilent of the site? i ask this as recently, i have been under a lot of pressure to make sites accessible, due to the introduction of the Disability Discrimination Act(UK) and other laws that are coming into place...

this means producing an accessible version as well as a flash one...

does anyone else face this problem?
what are other peoples opinions on this topic?

    thanks...

There is a html site in the works being developed by Time Warner in-house team, as useability, accessibility and quality is of absolute highest priority for them and their customers.

The clean look takes advantage of the potential Flash has in a way that many 'designer' sites do not.

This site is simply a flash version of:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espngamer/

    Nothing more, nothing less.

If you think it looks nice, fine, I agree.

If you think this is some kind of a revolutionary design ( as some of you stated ), you gotta have your head examined.

To comment on FI guy's response.
Time Warner has no idea of what words like usabilty, service or quality mean. As their customer of a couple of years I can safely say that they are a monopolistic corporation providing services not up to par even with some developing countries. They have been ripping people off for years by overcharging for their "services" simply because they were and still are the only game in most towns.
The dumb and dumberer movie should have been about the merger between AOL and Time Warner.

Fair and Square review. Thankfully we will be launching new versions reasonably soon, first of which will allow for deep linking and performance improvements across the board.

Note regarding the deep linking. The stories and videos are not archived meaning they have a life span of 5 days. This was one of the reasons deep linking was not standard in 1.0

this site is so amazing, it's disgusting

Simple things like copy/pasting text, bookmarks, refering URLs, etc. will always make me value HTML more, but this is a huge leap for flash. Excellent job.

The google search in flash is mind-blowing
