help needed

How can i input a text from a file and display it in a scroll pane.(the text is pretty large).

what type of file do you mean (the one thats holding the text that you want to show)? just a .txt file? and if its just text that you want to show, is there a reason why you are choosing to use a scrollpane, rather than the scrollbar component? because with the scrollpane, its usually when you want to scroll text and images together, while the scrollbar component scrolls only text.

If using a scrollpane, textfield has to be part of the scrollpane's content movie clip.

yes, i want to scroll text only, but actually i know well on creating animations but i am a begginner on action script, so i dont know about scroll bar much. can u help me?
