    Icons.

    Whats the easiest way to make one? can I convert a pic in photoshop then rename it? if so what settings do i need to do this?

    Axialis does too many things with colors, paletes and drawing automatically that I don't want it to do. It's nice if you're used to high end paint apps but it bugs the heck out of me.

    I tried painArtIcons Pro (from http://www.aha-soft.com) and found that it gave me a little more control. It let's ME decide exactly what I want the icon to look like, but still offers the higher end functionality if I want it.

    Hoolicon is not an icon editor it's an icon replacer. Everything you can do with the $29 Hoolicon utility (and more) can be done with a FREE tool called Resource Hacker.
