Bitmap fuzziness

I'm working on a menu interface using all bitmaps, and though I've turned 'allow smoothing' off for all of them, they still get smoothed when I export (except on low quality). I've made sure everything's position is whole numbers, and nothing is being scaled. Anyone know how I can make the bitmaps always look as they do when they're in low quality, while leaving the rest of the movie high quality?

Make sure that if you're using .jpg's that the properties for that image are selected as .jpg from within the library (right click on image/properties)

If you are using .png's make sure the setting in the library is set to lossless .png.

If you try to use .png compression on a .jpg or vice versa you will get the results you described.
