button problems

Okay, here is my problem. I'm making a home page for a site. I've made the background and a logo in it in photoshop. When I am in flash, I am using that image for the background. Just a simple import, and sized it to the backdrop. So it is just one frame. There is another layer I made, which has a tween in it and it's just a sparkle that circles the logo. So the whole thing is just one frame, and when you test it, the sparkle just loops around the logo. Exactly how I want it. Now, when I try to make a button on top that background, using a new layer or even placing it on the background layer, it works fine in fla format. When I test it or export it, the button doesn't work. When you put the cursor over the supposed to be button all you get is the highlight cursor and no option to click it. I've tried everything I know, it's just irritating me to death. Like I said, it will work in fla, but not swf Someone please help me. ty

Ok your button maybe on a defferent layer or somat..

If you can post your .Fla file here we can have a look fo ya..
